New SMSA officers for 2017

The general membership meeting was held on November 28th and the election results are as follows:

1. Commodore: Clayton Spangler 

2. Vice Commodore: Brad Leslie 

3. Rear Commodore: Dave Davison

4. Treasurer: Kathy Stonemark 

5. Secretary: Kathy Bucks

6. Harbor Master: Bob Richards 

7. Assistant Harbor Masters: Mike McGraw and Mike Todd

8. Social Chairman: Sandy Richards 

9. Membership Chairmen: Joe and Sue Boston 

10. Webmaster: Jeff Seager

11. Youth Instructor: Bob Richards

Other business items covered:

SMSA dues were refunded for 2016 by the National Hospice Regatta Alliance for our cancelled regatta. Funds were raised at other regattas to help support Hospice of Southern WV through the National Hospice Regatta Alliance.
SMSA helped raise $3,700 to assist the Summersville Rotary Club in meeting the needs of West Virginians in communities devastated by June flooding. 
A small portable crane was purchased to help facilitate repairs on some of SMSA's larger boats..
